Improving Practice Questionnaire March 2009
We would like to thank all of our patients who participated in our annual practice questionnaire. We have now had these analysed and the results returned.
We are delighted to announce that the practice has achieved a 73% score. This is up on last year's 69% and above the national mean, which is 61%.
We are sent samples of the free text component of the questionnaire and are very flattered by the comments. It is so rewarding, when all the staff work so hard in ever diminishing resources, to have such positive, motivational comments.
We are also send our negative comments and these are always discussed to see if we can improve. The main negative comments are:-
- Needing a purpose-built building
- Comfort of waiting room
- Length of wait - some GPs run late
- Quicker call back from Nurse Practitioner
We have arranged a meeting with a lay assessor of the Hampshire Primary Care Trust to visit the practice to discuss our 4 hightest ratings and 4 lowest ratings and form an action plan. The results of this and his written report will be posted on this site, once received.
